Every pen that comes through here gets taken apart, cleaned, and looked over closely enough to actually understand what decades of use — or decades of sitting forgotten in a drawer — did to it. That's the part I love. Not the idea of a vintage pen, but the mechanics of one: how it was built, what wears out first, and what it takes to bring something from “doesn't work” back to filling and writing the way it was meant to.

I restore and sell these pens because I genuinely enjoy the work — I didn't set out to run a store. Selling what I finish is what lets me keep buying, keep learning, and keep doing more of it. It's a hobby that pays for itself, not a warehouse operation, and every pen listed here passed through my own hands.

The one rule I hold to on every listing: tell the truth about condition. I disclose flaws plainly, photograph them clearly, and I won't describe a pen as better than it actually is just because it would sell faster. You should be able to read a listing and know exactly two things — what was restored, and what still isn't perfect. These pens have history. I'd rather show it to you honestly than restore it away.
