An original vintage Pepsi-Cola advertising fountain pen dating to approximately the late 1930s. The pen features a cream-colored body with blue striping, red Pepsi-Cola “Double Dot” script graphics, and its distinctive Pepsi bottle-shaped pocket clip.
These pens are an unusual crossover between vintage fountain pens and early American advertising collectibles. The bottle-shaped clip is particularly distinctive and retains traces of its original colored decoration.
This example has been restored to working condition and fitted with a new ink sac. The lever-filling system operates properly, and the pen has been filled and writing-tested following restoration.
The nib is marked “SIGNATURE PEN 6” and produces approximately a medium line. The original manufacturer of these Pepsi advertising pens has not been conclusively documented, so this example is conservatively listed as manufacturer unknown.
Sold as a restored vintage writing instrument while retaining the cosmetic character accumulated over roughly eight decades of use and storage.
Condition
Restored vintage condition. The Pepsi-Cola graphics and blue striped decoration remain strong and display very well. The pen shows expected cosmetic wear from age, including discoloration, surface wear, plating loss, and deterioration of some of the original metal finishes. Mechanically restored, filling properly, and writing-tested.
